This Epic New Route in Morocco Blew Us Away! 🚐 Dades Gorge to Todra Gorge🇲🇦

In this episode of our Morocco campervan adventure, we leave the campsite in Dades Gorge and head towards the spectacular Todra Gorge — but not by the usual route. Instead, we take on the newly opened mountain road between Msemir and Tamtatoucht, and what an epic journey it turned out to be! The road climbs high into the Atlas Mountains, delivering breathtaking views at every turn. At the highest point we stop for lunch, where Luna enjoys playing in the snow while we soak in the incredible mountain scenery. Along the way we meet local Berber nomads, who come out to greet us, and we share some food together high in the mountains — one of those special travel moments you never forget. This route truly feels like one of Morocco’s most spectacular campervan road trips. That evening we arrive in Tamtatoucht, where we enjoy amazing hospitality staying overnight at a local auberge. The adventure continues the next day with a beautiful hike from Todra, crossing a high mountain pass through a traditional Berber settlement, where you can enjoy a mint tea before descending into the famous Todra Gorge. From wild mountain roads to local encounters and unforgettable landscapes — what a journey this turned out to be!
