Gundog training: Retrieve problems

Adem Fehmi is a Dog Trainer and Behaviourist working in Hertfordshire. In this video, he demonstrates how to overcome retrieve problems such as mouthing, dropping or not coming back with the article. Adem is a keen believer in going back to basics, if necessary, and building up from there so that the dog is not put under too much pressure. Games are useful, too, to re-engage the dog's focus and enthusiasm and to remind them that training is fun. He has lots of helpful hints and tips on how to address each of the problem areas and shows how to break the training down into helpful steps.
