Gundog training: Teaching directions

Adem Fehmi is a Dog Trainer and Behaviourist working in Hertfordshire. In this video, he demonstrates how to teach a dog left and right directional commands. Adem has a particular interest in gundogs. Directional commands play an important role in gundog work but the principle could be applied elsewhere, too. At the start of the video, Adem gives an overview of the techniques he will demonstrate. Terms like "blind retrieve" may seem confusing at first, but he goes on to illustrate these terms so that we can clearly see how the training works in practise.
