The Spanish ALA-15 EF-18 Hornet shines in the Italian skies: Solo Display at Frecce Tricolori 65th!

Here's a video fully focused on the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet of the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire y del Espacio) which participated in the airshow for the 65th anniversary of the Frecce Tricolori at Rivolto Air Base in Italy. The single-seat fighter jet for the Spanish Air Force is also called EF-18A (where the 'E' stands for for España) while their internal designation is C.15, the 'C' being for 'Caza' (fighter aircraft in Spanish). To be even more precise the aircraft you see in this video should be an EF-18M, a Spanish F-18 which obtained all the mid-life upgrades, such as better avionics, upgraded radar and navigation, structural and engine overhaul and even a new paint job for a few units. Two Spanish Hornets where at the event but for both solo displays, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, the one embellished with a livery celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Ala-15 (15th Wing) squadron was used, squadron which is also part of the NATO Tiger Association.
