Veg Manchurian in HINDI | Easy Veg Manchurian Recipe | How to Make Vegetable Manchurian in Hindi

Veg Manchurian is an easy to make but super tasty Indo-Chinese recipe. Veg Manchurian is a fusion of Chinese cooking with Indian cooking techniques and ingredients. Garnish it with Spring onions green and julienned carrots to give it a restaurant style look. This dish is perfect as a starter if you are throwing a party or a potluck. Usually it is served with fried rice or noodles. You can also have it alone as a snack as it tastes awesome. It is believed to be originally developed by a small Chinese community which lived in Kolkata. Other Names: Mixed Vegetable Manchurian, Vegetable Manchurian, Dry Manchurian Ingredients 1 cup Cabbage (shredded) ¼ cup Green Capsicum (shredded) ½ cup Cauliflower (shredded) ½ cup Carrot (shredded) Oil for frying and cooking Water (as per requirement) 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour 3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup ½ cup Spring Onion (chopped). Make sure to keep green and white parts separate 1 tsp Ginger (chopped) 1 tsp Green Chillies (chopped) ½ tbsp Green Chilli Sauce Salt (according to taste) 2 tbsp Corn Flour ½ tsp Vinegar ½ tbsp Soya Sauce 1 tsp Garlic (chopped) ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder Instructions 1. First strain all excess water from shredded vegetables by pressing between the hands. Now, mix all shredded vegetables well. 2. Now add all purpose flour, corn flour, black pepper powder and salt. Again mix them well. 3. Now make Manchurian balls of medium size as shown in video. Make sure balls should not be too hard or too loose. Add little water if you feel mixture is too dry. 4. Now heat the oil in a wok till its medium hot. Check if oil is hot enough by adding small ball, it should sizzle but should not burn. 5. Now add all balls to oil. Don’t stir them immediately as they can break. Fry on a medium heat till they are golden brown. 6. Once manchurian balls are ready, they should look like in video. Now strain them out of oil on a paper towel so all excess oil is absorbed by paper. 7. Now we will prepare sauce mixture for Manchurian gravy by mixing tomato sauce, chili sauce and vinegar in a small bowl. 8. Now heat oil in a pan at medium heat. 9. Add white part of spring onions, we will use green part later for garnishing. Now add ginger, garlic, green chilies and stir them for 2-3 mins on medium heat till they are slightly cooked. 10. When its cooked, add sauce mixture. Give it a little stir. Then add soya sauce and mix it well. 11. Add salt according to taste. Be cautious because all sauces already have salt. Then add ½ Cup water, this will help in mixing all spices together. Keep stirring and wait till it gets a boil. 12. Now add fried balls and stir them to cover them in sauce for 2-3 mins. 13. Now Veg Manchurian is ready to serve. Tips n Tricks: 1. If you have excess water in shredded veggies, manchurian balls can break while deep frying. 2. Don’t make too big Manchurian balls as they can break while frying. 3. For having even quicker Veg Manchurian lunch you can advance cook manchurian balls and store them in a freezer for future use. Whenever you crave for indo-chinese food just make sauce and cook them together.
