6/19/2026 OBX Osprey: Fish "attacks" chick #2

From ‪@obxospreycam‬ on June 19, 2026. Chick #2 feels a floppy fish and thinks it has been attacked; in defense, it goes after chick #1. On a rainy day, Fredrick brings in a lunch fish. In the handoff to Betsy, the whole live fish gets loose and flops about, getting close to and probably smacking into the two chicks. Chick #2 feels it has been hit, so in self-defense, it goes after chick #1. Awww, poor C1 runs and cowers as C2 tries to get some pecks in. Meanwhile, Fredrick skedaddles out of there. Betsy has the fish and begins offering bites. That gets C2's attention and it goes to get its meal. C1 recovers quickly and goes to eat as well. They eat amicably, best pals again.
