This project focuses on a Peregrine Falcon nest located on a balcony of a high-rise building (Kanku Izumiotsu Washington Hotel) in Izumiotsu City, Osaka. Since the first nesting was confirmed in 2004, wildlife observation and conservation efforts have been conducted for over 20 years with the cooperation of the "Izumiotsu Peregrine Falcon Support Club." ◾️ Egg-Laying & Hatching Data 2026 03/15🥚🥚🥚🥚 03/13🥚🥚🥚 03/11 🥚🥚→04/16🐣 03/08🥚→04/15🐣 ■ About the Current Pair ♂Male: Kirara IV (4th) A new male that arrived in January 2025 following the disappearance of his predecessor in August 2024. He has inherited the name "Kirara," which has been passed down through generations in this community. ♀Female: Sara A female that has been based at this site and continuing nesting activities since 2021. ■ Current Status (As of March 2026) The breeding season is currently underway. The pair has completed egg-laying and is now in the "incubation" phase, taking turns keeping the eggs warm.
