Zoom Out to See Progress
Sometimes we can feel like we're stuck in a rut or even moving backwards with recovery. It's important to take a step back, zoom out, and look at your progress from a wider point of view. How are you doing compared to 3, 6 ,9, or 12 months ago? What about 3 years ago? The exact timeframe doesn't matter, and it will be different for everyone depending on their unique situation, but look at how you've grown over time. Even if symptoms are still the same, how has your mindset changed? Do you know more now than you did previously? Don't lose sight of any progress you've made, whatever form it comes in.
