【4K東京散歩】「ドカベン」岩鬼似の猫｜都電で雑司ヶ谷鬼子母神へ

In this video, we take the Toden tram to visit Zoshigaya Kishimojin, one of the Three Great Kishimojin Temples of Edo. While you can easily get close by subway, there is a nostalgic charm to the Toden Arakawa Line—the only remaining Tokyo streetcar. There are two approaches to the temple, "Nishi-sando" (West Approach) and "Omote-sando" (Main Approach). We will head toward Kishimojin via the Omote-sando first. Along the way, we had a car honk at us from behind, but we also encountered a rather unique cat out for a stroll, making it a delightful journey. After paying our respects at the Kishimojin-do Hall, we take a short break with some "Osen Dango" (rice dumplings) and green tea. We also stop by a historic candy store with over 240 years of history. Additionally, we'll showcase the second-largest Ginkgo tree in Tokyo and an Inari shrine that predates the Kishimojin-do Hall itself.
