Surrey hills (London lane + wix lane) greenlaning

This ride started with another attempt at London Lane, but one deep rut caught me out, sending my Suzuki V-Strom 650 to the ground and leaving me with a dented exhaust. That’s all part of the adventure! After picking the bike back up, we carried on to Wix Lane, riding through scenic farm tracks, beautiful countryside, and plenty of challenging green lanes. The day started full of adrenaline, and I was breathing hard through the tougher sections, but it finished with some more relaxed routes that still had plenty of bumps, loose rocks, and technical terrain to keep things interesting. I’m riding the V-Strom 650 on Bridgestone street tyres, which definitely makes off-roading more of a challenge. The bike is heavy, you really have to muscle it around, and every rock pinging the underside makes you think something expensive has just happened! But that’s all part of learning, improving, and enjoying the adventure.
