🌿 The Forgotten Byways of Epping | 4 Green Lanes on a Suzuki V-Strom 650 After discovering some brilliant green lanes recently, I decided to use OS Maps to see what other legal byways I could find close to London. What I wasn’t expecting was just how overgrown some of them had become! In this video I ride 4 legal BOATs (Byways Open to All Traffic) around the Harlow and Epping area. Some of these lanes felt completely forgotten, with thick bushes, thorny branches and overgrown vegetation making them surprisingly technical. It really felt like exploring somewhere untouched. If you’re looking for a beginner-friendly green lane adventure that’s close to London but still gives you a real sense of exploration, these byways are well worth checking out. Even on my Suzuki V-Strom 650 fitted with road tyres, they made for a fantastic day out.
