In today's episode, I'm sharing a delicious River Fresh Homemade Fish Curry made with fresh fish, aromatic spices, and traditional home-style cooking techniques. This flavorful curry is simple to prepare and pairs perfectly with steamed rice for a comforting family meal. 🌿 Ingredients Fresh river fish (500–700 g) 2 onions, finely chopped 2 tomatoes, chopped 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 2–3 green chilies ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp cumin powder Salt to taste Mustard oil or cooking oil Fresh coriander leaves for garnish Water as required 🍳 Method Clean and marinate the fish with turmeric and salt for 15 minutes. Lightly fry the fish pieces until golden and set aside. Heat oil in the same pan and sauté onions until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and tomatoes. Cook until soft. Mix in turmeric, red chili, coriander, cumin, and salt. Cook until the oil separates. Add water to prepare the gravy and bring it to a boil. Gently add the fried fish pieces and simmer for 8–10 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
