THE SAVING GOSPEL Part 1 (1 Corinthians 15:1-5)

The Greek word euangelion originally meant "good news" and was used in a military context to announce victory. In ancient times, when a city faced the threat of invasion, watchmen would vigilantly observe the battlefield. Upon seeing the enemy, they would sound alarms to prepare the defenders. However, when the home army secured a victory, a messenger was dispatched to the city bearing *euangelion*—the good news that the battle was won and the city was safe. Therefore, the gospel declares that Jesus entered the battlefield of sin and death, engaged in the conflict, and emerged victorious. His death and resurrection represent the ultimate good news, victory over the enemies that endanger all humanity. #BibleStudy #Bible #Christianity #Faith #WordOfGod #OnlineBibleStudy #LiveSteam #Prayer #OnlineMinistry #Discipleship #HolySpiritBaptism #Broadcast
