Grand Canyon Rim to Rim Hike: Mistakes Were Made
The Grand Canyon Rim to Rim hike has been on our bucket list for what seems like forever. While it offers some of the best views of the Grand Canyon, it's also almost a marathon in distance with 6,000FT of climbing (at the END of the trail), making it one crazy challenging hike. We somehow thought it would be a good idea to start at the South Rim (Bright Angel trailhead) at dawn and try to make a 2PM shuttle pick-up at the North Rim (North Kaibab trailhead). Ummmm....yeah. That didn't go well. As you'll see, this was one chaotic, yet spectacular R2R trail running adventure that we will never forget! #rimtorim #grandcanyon #hiking
