Grand Canyon Rim to Rim Hike in One Day - Vlog with timelines, weather, & tips

Join me for this Grand Canyon Rim to Rim hike - 23.98 miles, 10,500 feet of elevation gain/loss, level strenuous. It is NOT recommended to do the entire hike in one day. Campsites and/or lodging can be reserved in the canyon and a special permit can be obtained to stay overnight, however these reservations are limited and must usually be made at least a year in advance. My sister wanted to hike this for her 50th birthday. I didn't even know what it was when she mentioned it, but I love her, FOMO is real, and I thought it could make a great video. I hike often in Montana (check out my Glacier National Park videos) but had never done a hike of this magnitude and I have always turned down marathons, half marathons, and the like although my sister has completed both.
