Chicago Commuter Action- South Shore and Metra Trains!

I found myself with two hours, no car, and in arguably the greatest rail city in the country. What to do? I kept it simple and shot rush hour commuter trains in two locations. The first was the 11th Street Pedestrian Bridge over the tracks. Metra and the South Shore Line trains rolled passed, one after the other like a parade. Caught a fun engineer horn salute-off at a meet. The second was also on 11th St, but a few blocks west, at S Wabash Ave where I saw Green Line trains on the L, looking like a moment from the Blues Brothers movie. All of it under the Chicago skyscrapers.
