Transitions and new beginnings at home and business

When things don't go as planned or when excitement strikes and I want to make changes, I have learned to just go for it. Well, hello Kindred Spirits. This week at Sugarwood, I’m sharing a little bit of everything, from updates to the kitchen apothecary garden, to the recent TV filming here at the house, to some exciting changes happening behind the scenes in both life and business. I’ve always been someone who, when something no longer feels right or no longer works the way I hoped, I’m willing to make changes and try a different path. And sometimes, when inspiration and excitement strike, I simply follow where it leads. That is very much the season I’m in right now. In this video, we work on the new garden planters, search for black petunias, talk about Liberty Tea and New England history, visit the orchard and morel mushrooms after the rain, and I also share some new ideas I’m creating for New England Fine Living, including a more elevated seasonal parcel and letter concept that I’m very excited about.
