JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - The Attorney General's Office's Supervisory Agency (Jampidsus) Rudi Margono explained the legal status of former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie, regarding the issuance of a new investigation warrant (sprindik) for alleged money laundering (TPPU). He emphasized that Febrie remains a suspect in the Asabri case, which has been transferred to the National Police investigators. However, in the new sprindik, investigators will first question him as a witness. According to Rudi Margono, this mechanism is in place to ensure that the investigation of the TPPU case follows legal procedures and allows for the development of evidence obtained from the previous case. The Attorney General's Office also stated that the new sprindik was issued to further investigate the alleged TPPU related to evidence and the results of the investigation.
