According to him, given his status as a suspect and having undergone hours of questioning, law enforcement officials should consider detaining him if the legal requirements have been met. Salsa is also concerned about the possibility that the suspect will destroy evidence, influence witnesses, or even flee if not detained. Consequently, he asked law enforcement officials to take steps he deems appropriate in accordance with applicable law. Most recently, Salsa urged the public to continue monitoring the legal process in this case to ensure it is transparent and accountable. In a subsequent post, Salsa argued that this case should be handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), not the Attorney General's Office (AGO). The primary reason was to avoid a conflict of interest. However, Febrie Adriansyah did not comply with the summons as a witness in the investigation into the alleged money laundering. The Head of the Attorney General's Office's Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, stated that Febrie did not appear due to health reasons. Furthermore, another witness, identified as NH, did not appear without prior notification. "Team 9 has summoned four witnesses: FA, DR, NH, and TS, as well as an expert on money laundering (TPPU), to testify on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026," he said. Following up on this matter, AGO investigators will reschedule the witness summons for questioning. AGO investigators will issue a second summons on Friday (July 24th).
