Kasus Febrie Adriansyah, KPK Tegaskan Tak Ada Kriminalisasi

KOMPAS.TV The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, a suspect in an alleged money laundering (TPPU) case after undergoing nearly 10 hours of questioning. Following the suspect determination, Febrie Adriansyah was detained at the KPK's Red and White Building Detention Center in Jakarta for the next 20 days. The AGO stated that the detention at the KPK detention center was for security and protection reasons. There is currently no confirmation regarding Febrie's follow-up questioning schedule next week. Following the questioning, Febrie left the questioning room without being handcuffed and without wearing a prisoner's vest. Before being taken to the KPK detention center, Febrie stated that he felt criminalized but was ready to face the legal process. In response to this statement, the Deputy for Coordination and Supervision of the KPK, Ely Kusumastuti, denied any criminalization. According to Ely, based on the KPK's monitoring, the KPK did not observe any elements of criminalization in the handling of the case.
