Retirees will be able to work as self-employed individuals and continue receiving part of their pension. This reform was approved this Tuesday by the Council of Ministers and extends flexible retirement to self-employment. Until now, it was only permitted to combine it with part-time employment. The royal decree, signed by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, will come into effect three months after its publication in the Official State Gazette. It also includes incentives for older workers to delay their retirement or return to work.
