In this video, I try out the famous watercolor set created by Hazel Soan in collaboration with Schmincke Horadam, a carefully curated selection designed to force us to do something many artists avoid: mix our own colors. Hazel Soan is an internationally acclaimed artist, author of numerous art books, teacher, lecturer, and one of the most admired watercolorists in the world. Her work is characterized by her absolute mastery of color, light, and atmosphere. That's why I decided to try her set and find out if it can really help us improve our skills as artists. But this time, I went a step further. Instead of simply creating a traditional color chart, I used one of the templates from my new Color Mixing Library, a collection of mixing charts designed to explore color combinations in an organized and visual way. The result was amazing.
