This tank holds 0.11 GIGAJOULES of heat!
This is my home made steam sterilizing tank for preparing mushroom substrate. It's used to kill a large percentage of living organisms within mushroom substrate so the mushroom mycelium can colonize the substrate without competition. To do this I add energy into the tank via steam, which heats the tank up. When you have a very large amount of substrate in the tank, it can take a very long time!
