Making my homemade steam generator SAFER!

I made my own homemade or DIY steam generator for sterilizing my mushroom substrate. The purpose of this steam boiler is to produce enough steam to heat my substrate to sterilize or pasteurize it. The mushroom substrate needs to be kept at boiling temperature for a long period of time, in excess of 10 hours generally. To achieve this I built my own steam generator which operates very efficiently and for very long periods. The last thing I needed to do was install a safety float valve so the element turns off if the water level gets too low. The safety switch breaks the circuit from the PID controller to the solid-state relay, causing the element to shut off.
