The meditation of Loving-Kindness, called Metta in Pali, is perhaps the most important and popular meditation in the Buddhist tradition. We could say that Metta is the deepest feeling of Universal Love that can exist. Its meaning and content are immense: kindness, gentleness, gentleness, calm, solidarity, tolerance, joy, affection, recognition, respect, understanding, compassion, forgiveness, purity… You yourself can add to this list those positive and creative emotions that are most characteristic of you. Cultivating Metta helps overcome fear and ignorance in any of its forms, providing the practitioner with the ability to respond voluntarily and creatively to any stimulus in life with Love.
