Hooking into Hangklip - Kayak Fishing Comeback

Wit Blitz not shooting blanks today! Been on a proper blanking streak lately… paddling far, putting in the hours, but nothing making that rod bend — and I’m getting tired of Maggi Noodles and overpriced McD’s. Launched at Strand the day before, but the fish just avoided my lures. On the drive back to Cape Town, my daughter says to me, “Pappa, jy moet harder probeer.” That one hit a bit deeper. So I turned the bakkie around and headed for Hangklip the next day. And just like that… the reel finally started singing again. Sheeesh, I almost forgot what that sounds like!
