Testing .45 Colt… But With a Round Ball?! Does It Actually Work?
In this video, I test an experimental .45 Colt cartridge using a round ball seated in a standard casing. This isn’t your typical load, so I wanted to see how it actually performs out of a revolver. I start by shooting offhand to get a realistic feel for accuracy, then move to firing from the rest to see what kind of precision this setup is really capable of. Finally, I put it to the test on steel targets to observe impact and performance downrange. How well does a round ball work in a .45 Colt? Is it accurate? Does it hit with authority? Let’s find out. This video is for educational, experimental, and entertainment purposes only.
