May Pang Interview - The Lost Weekend: A Love Story
I had the amazing opportunity to #interview #maypang for the new #johnlennon documentary The Lost Weekend: A Love Story. The movie follows John Lennon's 18 month separation from Yoko Ono (1973 - 1975) through the eyes of May Pang, the Lennons' secretary who ended up becoming John’s girlfriend (at the initial insistence of Yoko herself). In that time John created 3 albums (Mind Games, Walls and Bridges and the Rock 'N' Roll album) collaborated with both Harry Nilsson and Elton John (who sang a duet on John's first Number 1 song "Whatever Gets You Through the Night") reunited with Paul McCartney and his son Julian, all with May's support. And there is plenty of rock and roll debauchery and heartache along the way. I give my own short #review of the film, but May's stories are truly worth watching. @themaypang http://MayPang.com http://RockArtShow.com If you'd like to see extended interviews and videos (commercial free) please consider joining my Patreon Page: / jtcurtis
