Scenic drive in 4K POV — Sierre to Blatten, filmed on GoPro in the Valais Alps of Switzerland. This is a real-road driving video up the Rhône Valley into the Lötschental, the Swiss valley where the Birch Glacier collapse of May 2025 buried the village of Blatten. Pure POV, no commentary — just the road and the mountains. 🗺️ About the route A continuous drive from Sierre in the Rhône Valley, climbing north into the Lötschental (Lötschen valley) and following the mountain road toward Blatten. Roughly 40 minutes of uninterrupted footage, ending at the viewpoint over the disaster site. 🏔️ About the Lötschental & Blatten The Lötschental is one of the most traditional valleys in Valais, a long glacial valley beneath the Bietschhorn. On 28 May 2025, around 20 million cubic metres of rock and ice came down from the Birch Glacier and destroyed most of the medieval village of Blatten.
