A Snow Day In My Weaving Studio
A short video about my first day back in my weaving studio this year ❄️ Right now I'm working on three different tapestries across three different looms, and I've featured two of them in this video. In the conservatory I'm working on my 1976 Harris floor loom. I documented the process of restoring this loom in my previous video, which you can watch here: • The Story Of My First Floor Loom Meanwhile, in the main studio, I'm working on my 1940s Danish loom. While both looms are quite different, I'm using similar methods on each. I have my design drawn out onto a cardboard template, and I'm drawing around it to show me where to weave. If you'd like to learn more about my design and weaving process, I've released a longer, more in-depth video for paid subscribers on my Substack.
