Pablo Trincia meets Raffaella Todaro, a former Scientology staff member, who tells her story, from her years studying in Florida to her expulsion when she decided to send her daughters to public school. Raffaella was 21 when she left for Florida to undertake three intense years of training at Scientology headquarters. Her goal was to become a staff member and bring her training to the Milan headquarters, contributing to the organization's expansion. After completing her training, she returned to Italy and became an active member of the staff, dedicating much of her life to the Church. But in 2006, after nearly fifteen years immersed in the organization, she made a decision that would change everything: she wanted to offer her daughters a different life, sending them to public school and allowing them to discover the outside world. Initially, the leaders of the Milan church pressured her to stay: they isolated her, subjected her to surveillance, and implemented a series of strategies to make her feel guilty. However, when it becomes clear to everyone that Raffaella's choice is final, the organization takes drastic measures: she is expelled from all churches, labeled as subversive and dangerous, and forced to rebuild her life away from the Church.
