Un avvertimento prima di iniziare - Pablo Trincia | Episodio 15 | Morti nella Grenfell Tower

Pablo Trincia meets Giannino Gottardi and Daniela Burigotto, the parents of Marco Gottardi, who died along with his girlfriend Gloria Trevisan in the Grenfell Tower fire in London. In the early hours of June 14, 2017, Grenfell Tower, a 24-story residential tower in Kensington and Chelsea, was engulfed in flames. The fire, which started in an apartment on the fourth floor, spread across the entire exterior façade in just twelve minutes, transforming the tower into a giant torch. Around 3:00 a.m., Giannino and Daniela received a phone call from Gloria's mother. Her terrified daughter had warned her of what was happening, and she immediately called Marco's parents. From that moment on, they began contacting their son and his girlfriend, managing to hear them intermittently until 4:08 a.m., when the line went dead. Marco and Gloria died that night in their 23rd-floor apartment, along with 70 other people. How could an entire building burn down like that? In the months and years that followed, investigations revealed that the material used to clad the tower was not fireproof and contributed significantly to the blaze's rapid spread.
