The biggest swell since May hit on September 1st courtesy of an ongoing run of Southern Hemi swell. This swell provided epic XL surf at the Mexican Pipeline. The opening scene of this episode features Matt Bromley with the wipeout of the swell which you probably saw on Surfline. It takes a lot of courage when surfing Puerto Escondido and this swell showed how violent and rewarding waves can be at Playa Zicatela.
