THE BEST/BIGGEST WAVES AND WORST WIPEOUTS IVE EVER HAD IN PUERTO ESCONDIDO

May was one of the slowest and worst months of the year for surf in Puerto Escondido… so we had to get creative. This episode starts with me painting a new board, getting it ready for the next swell, and then heading out for a session at Zicatela with Sebastian Williams and Marcia Monreal. Even though the month didn’t deliver the way we hoped, we still managed to put together some of the best waves and worst wipeouts of my life. That’s the reality of surfing Puerto Escondido. Some days are perfect, some months are frustrating, and sometimes the only way to tell the story is to show the full mix — the barrels, the beatings, the heavy wipeouts, the good waves, and everything in between. This episode is about making the most of a slow month, chasing moments when the ocean finally turns on, and surviving the kind of wipeouts that only Puerto can hand out.
