About organic alpine cheese, unexpected calves and real happiness. High up on the Hinderist hut on the Wasserberg, a genuine alpine cheese has been produced for generations. Since 2007, for the first time a woman has been processing the milk produced on her own alp into a multi-award-winning top-quality cheese. Her certified organic cheese is now popular far beyond the borders of Central Switzerland and enjoys an excellent reputation. This success is due to sustainable working methods, exemplary animal husbandry and the unique flora of the alp on the Wasserberg. This film tells the story of the married couple Cathy and Gerold Gwerder and accompanies them for a whole day on their remote farm high in the mountains of Central Switzerland.
