Roberto Thieme y el rol de Patria y Libertad en la UP: "Había un plan maestro de derrocamiento"

When Salvador Allende won the Presidency, Pablo Rodríguez formed the Nationalist Movement Fatherland and Liberty (Patria y Libertad) to directly oppose the Popular Unity government. Roberto Thieme became secretary of this movement, thanks to his management skills, and became its main organizer after several leaders sought asylum following the coup attempt in June 1973. Fatherland and Liberty carried out acts of sabotage during the Popular Unity government, contested street protests with the shock troops of leftist parties, and supported the coup d'état. This interview was planned to be recorded over two days. The first session focused on Popular Unity. Unfortunately, Roberto Thieme's health prevented the second part, which was to cover the coup and the dictatorship, from being recorded.
