GRILLED VEG SANDWICH WITH WHITE SAUCE INGREDIENTS : FOR WHITE SAUCE : Butter Maida (all-purpose flour) - 1.5 tbsp Milk - 1 cup Black Pepper Powder- 1/4 tbsp Sugar - 1 tbsp Salt to taste Grated Cheese (optionnal) Chili Flakes (optional) VEGETABLES : Onion - 1 or 2 sliced Carrot  – 1 cut into small pieces Beans - cut in to small pieces Cabbage - cut into small pieces Sweet corn OTHER INGREDIENTS : Bread slices Butter for roasting Grated cheese METHOD : Step 1: PREPARE WHITE SAUCE Heat butter in a pan on low flame. Add maida and stir continuously for 1 minute. Slowly add milk while whisking so that no lumps are there. Cook until the sauce becomes smooth and slightly thick. Add  Sugar, Salt, Black Pepper and Chili Flakes. Mix well and switch off the flame. (Pl note: You can red chilli poweder, black pepper and chilli flakes later to adjust the taste) Step 2: PREPARE FILLING Saute Vegetables in butter for 1 minute. Don't overcook. Add prepared white sauce. Add salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and chilli flakes. Mix everything well. Step 3: ASSEMBLE SANDWICH Apply butter on bread slices. Spread prepared vegetable white sauce mixture evenly. Add cheese if you want extra cheesy sandwich. Cover with another bread slice. Step 4: GRILL SANDWICH Apply butter on outer side of bread. Place sandwich in Pan,  Preheated Griller or Sandwich maker. Grill until crispy and golden brown. SERVING SUGHESTION Serve hot with: Tomato ketchup Green chutney TIPS : Use chilled milk for smoother white sauce. Do not make sauce very thick; otherwise sandwich becomes dry. You can add capsicum, paneer, mushrooms, or broccoli.
