Site 8B | SOI Divestream 959

This 10.5-hour dive at Site 8B will focus on exploring the continental slope in the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve in NE Tobago. This area has not been scientifically explored before. Specifically, this dive will explore a steep slope. The dive will conduct visual observations, including of high-density animal communities such as corals and sponges. Biological samples, Niskin samples, and sediment cores will be collected opportunistically. Video transects will be conducted.
