The Hyper Hammer is just too stupid.
This was a great match I had with the gundam with the hyper hammer which is so ridiculously good. It’s probably the best 400 gen and even stacks up super well at any cost it’s available at. It really has no downsides besides no ma and or good vulcans. Hp wise it’s pretty tanky as I have 20k at 400 which is insane. Normally it has 16,500k hp with 15 for every defense which is not bad since it’s very even. Does have a 2500 hp shield that blocks more than you think and this suit has shield break stance meaning you don’t stagger when it breaks. Otter defensive skills are anti blast stabilizer and evasion lvl 2 for 2 evasions. This makes taking yhe gramps out very difficult sometimes and kinda annoying. Weapon wise it has the famous gundam beam rifle with 1575 power, 50% heat, 400m range, 1 cooldown, 8 sec overheat and 1 sec charge time. Next up I used the hyper hammer which at lvl 1 it has 2650 power and a 4 sec cooldown time. This does 100% damage no matter how you swing it as neutral and side swings all do the same which is busted. Also the heavy stagger meaning it’s basically impossible to approach the gundam singe a neutral swing can knock you out of ma. Now it does take some skill to use but the downswing is absolutely ridiculous as it does huge damage, Hits your legs for some reason and get this… YOU CANT COUNTER it. Almost all melee weapons and even shield swings can all be tackled for a counter but not the hammerYou can’t with wires either but that’s also another day. Last sub it has is the worst vulcans ever that aren’t even woth talking about with a measly 50 power. Mobility wise it’s very average but good strafe speed. It has 130 walk, 180 hsm, 65 thrust and 60 turn which is all super basic and it only has quick boost lvl 2 and high spec ambac lvl 2 as mobility related skills. These stats do get better when the shield breaks and it does get faster at higher costs. Overall it needs no buffs at all. They could give it its iconic jumping downswing that the perfect gundam has but that’s not really needed tbh. It needs some nerfs if i’m being honest. The hammer needs to be counterable with a tackle and reduced the power of its side swings to 80%. And that downswing needs its hitbox fixed so badly, I’d also increase the charge time to 1.5, cooldown to 2 secs, and overheat to 10 seconds. The rifle can charge and charge to stun way too fast. I highly recommend the gundam as even with it not having any ma or other buffers it’s still a strong and annoying suit to deal with. It really doesn’t take much to get good with the hammer or normal kit it has. Hope yall enjoy this one!
