Rediscovering the Lost Potteries Loop Line – Abandoned Railway Walk Through Stoke-on-Trent

Once a vital railway link for Stoke-on-Trent, the Potteries Loop Line connected Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, and Kidsgrove, providing essential transport across Staffordshire and Cheshire. Built in stages during the 1870s, this North Staffordshire Railway route played a key role in the region's industrial past-until its closure left much of it abandoned. In this video, I walk and retrace a large portion of this forgotten railway, starting from Corbridge near Hanley and following the route through Burslem, Tunstall, Goldenhill, and Kidsgrove. Along the way, I uncover hidden remnants of the line and explore its lasting impact on the local area. 📌 Subscribe for more abandoned railway explorations! 👍 Like & comment if you think this railway should have been saved!
