“This is a people business”: One Four Nine’s Gabrielle Beaumont on transforming financial advice

Financial advice firms have historically been “tiny businesses” without the resources of large corporates to attract top talent into the profession. “But that will change”, according to Gabrielle Beaumont, founder and chief executive of One Four Nine group. Speaking to FT Adviser about the challenges and opportunities facing the profession in 2026, not least the need to get more young people into financial planning, Beaumont said more advice firms were rising to the challenge of bridging the advice gap with new talent.
