Scenic Drive | Nomeland - Suleskard | Suleskardvegen

We drive the Suleskarveien (FV450) between Nomeland and Suleskard in Agder county. This mountain pass between Setesdal and Sirdal is open in the summer from the end of May to November 1. The road is of good standard, but is at times narrow and winding. There are large numbers of sheep grazing in the mountains between Brokke and Suleskar from June onwards. They often lie down and rest on the side of the road or often in the middle of the road. Most of the road goes through a nature conservation area. This is to protect the wild reindeer herd, which is the country's southernmost.
