"2026: The Year of Big Adventures" meets "Escaping the Weekly Grind" for a two day solo trip thru central Idaho to hike to remote lakes, camp in the woods, and adventure thru the Hemingway-Boulders Wilderness Area. I needed a challenge. A change of scenery. Something remote, peaceful, and something new. And I wanted to earn it. So as soon as my 'weekend' started, I headed up north just past Ketchum, ID with a plan to immerse myself in the mountains.
