Locomotive consist: CN 5443 - EMD SD60 - CN Noodle w/ website - Fouled Narrow Font K3HA (dead 4a) CN 5415 - EMD SD60 - CN Noodle w/ website This crossing is located on the CN Ewen Industrial Line. Horn setting: Horn zone. Signal on the left: A Safetran clamp-style base and 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20" lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs. Signal on the right: A Safetran clamp-style base, 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20" lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs and a low tone Siemens electronic bell. While waiting at the Fraser River bridge, I saw the CN Ewen transfer was crossing onto the Fraser River bridge headed for the CN Ewen Yard in Richmond. So, I headed over to this crossing to wait on it. After about a 20-30 minute wait, I saw the Ewen transfer cross the Lulu Island bridge nearby. So, I started recording, and the crossing activated soon after. Here we see the CN Ewen transfer crawling through with a pair of SD60s for power. This crossing is a bit on the boring side, and it unfortunately replaced some cool signals. Some longtime viewers may remember this crossing having a pair of classic signals with 8” lights, and an ASC E-Bell. But in early 2019, CN upgraded the two crossings nearby for the widening of Westminster Hwy to four lanes, resulting in the signals here getting replaced. It’s quite too bad I didn’t know when the Ewen transfer ran, or I would’ve long gotten this crossing in action with the ASC E-Bell. It is what it is I guess. Please comment, like and subscribe!
