Think again! 🇬🇹 I was absolutely shocked to discover the Oakland Place Mall in Guatemala City, a massive seven-story shopping destination that feels more like a tropical paradise than a standard mall. 🌴 In this video, I take you on a full tour of this incredible hidden gem. We start by exploring the stunning indoor jungle area, featuring a massive waterfall and lush greenery that you can actually walk through. This mall is packed with every store you could ever need, from high-end luxury brands like Lacoste and Under Armour to global favorites like Zara, H&M, and North Face. 🛍️ I also show you the massive entertainment sections, including the Max electronics store which is like the Best Buy of Guatemala, and the Air Square bounce house area. If you are hungry, you are in luck! We visit two different food courts and a dedicated floor for high-quality sit-down restaurants. I even found a great spot called Barbecue Experts that serves fire food with an amazing view of the city. 🍔 Despite the common warnings about safety in Central America, my experience walking around Guatemala City has been fantastic. This mall actually rivals or even beats some of the best shopping centers in the United States, Panama, and Costa Rica.
