We went to a mall in Guatemala City and accidentally stumbled into one of the best museums we've seen in the entire country. And it cost less than $5 to get in. Centro Comercial Miraflores is one of Guatemala City's top shopping malls — packed, beautiful, and full of life in Zone 11. But what most people don't know is that it's also home to Museo Miraflores, a Mayan archaeology museum built on top of an actual Pre-Columbian site. We walked in expecting a shopping trip and walked out having explored a jade mask collection, touched real Mayan ruins, and watched a short film inside a recreated underground tomb. Q35 to get in.
