Grand Canyon, Hiking Hermits Rest to Pima Point
We took The Grand Canyon South Rim Red Shuttle from The Village Shuttle Route Transfer to Hermits Rest; from there we hiked the mile to Pima Point. The trail was mostly flat and paved in places; but our plans were to stay close to the rim where the trail was expertly maintained dirt and rock. There were many shade opportunities where we enjoyed the amazing views. The trail was very quiet and peaceful; solitude and beauty made the day wonderful. The trail is highly recommended; an early start and ample hydration are strongly encouraged.
