Grand Canyon, Hike Pima Point to Monument Creek Vista

3 Grand Canyon South Rim Hike Pima Point offers a 270-degree panoramic view of the Grand Canyon. The Colorado River below on a good day can be clearly heard roaring below. It is one of the best places for Sunset as fewer people go there than Hopi Point and the views are specular. Our hike to Monument Creek Vista was a 1.5-mile wonderful journey. The day was cool and we were well hydrated. We got an early start and our light pack made things less challenging. The Greenway Trail which is a paved portion of the hike is a nice alternative to the rim trail. Our choice being the rim always took precedence. The Monument Creek Vista was named for the many Monuments in the Canyon which made the journey well worthwhile.
