Baboli Shami | An Authentic and Nutritious Mazandarani Dish | Rural Cuisine
As the title suggests, the food originated in Babol, Mazandaran Province, northern Iran. This food is prepared using a mix of meat, peas, and aromatic vegetables from the north. Unique vegetables such as Eryngium Planum leaves, Peppermint, and Froriepia Subpinnata are used, giving this food a pleasant aroma and making it taste distinct from other Shami Kebabs you’ve had so far. Because of its nutritious ingredients, Baboli Shami Kebab provides much energy and keeps you full for hours.
