Giant Moose encounter on a Northern MN lake, he swims across to eat lunch and relax

On July 4th 2026 I was fishing a Northern MN lake that is a Boundary Waters entrance lake and had one of the coolest encounters you could ever ask for with a giant Minnesota Bull Moose. I was fishing a point for walleyes using a slip bobber and leech set up, just had a big fish drag me off the point that came loose before I could ever see it. Paddled back to the point rebaited my jig and was sitting there relaxing watching my bobber again, I was set up about 15 feet from shore right on the edge of some scraggly lily pads on this point, when I got the feeling that something was watching me, looked over to shore and there was a giant bull moose standing there staring right at me. At first I thought it was a statue, he was standing perfectly still, I quickly realized he wasn't a statue and I was in his way, I didn't panic I had the paddle sitting on my lap so I picked it up with my one free hand and just slowly back paddled out of his way, when I was far enough away that I felt I was out of his danger zone I hunted around for my phone, since it was the only camera I had on me and started filming him. He proceeded to swim all the way across the lake to what is the access site for the campground I was on, he lounged around and ate lilly pads and proceeded to try and get rid of the flys that were bothering him. I hung around for about an hour watching him then vacated the area because I didn't want to disturb him. It was definitely the encounter of a life time, at any point in the initial encounter he could have trampled me, we were with in 20 feet of each other for around 2 minutes that I know of.
